Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a plan I have to hide 2 new caches every month for all of 2012 in the Upper Yorke Peninsula. One will come out on the 1st of the month and will be a traditional cache and the other one will come out on the 15th of the month and will be another type (such as puzzle, multi, etc). Each cache I place in the series will have the logo you see here on it so that you know which ones are part of the series.

Babushka dolls is a name often incorrectly given to Matryoshka Doll also known as Russian nesting/nested doll. The first Russian nested doll set was carved in 1890 by Vasily Zvyozdochkin from a design by Sergey Malyutin, who was a folk crafts painter in the Abramtsevo estate of the Russian industrialist and patron of arts Savva Mamontov. The doll set was painted by Malyutin. Malyutin's doll set consisted of eight dolls—the outermost was a girl in a traditional dress holding a rooster. The inner dolls were girls and a boy, and the innermost a baby.

Zvyozdochkin and Malyutin were inspired by a doll from Honshu, the main island of Japan. Sources differ in descriptions of the doll, describing it as either a round, hollow daruma doll or a fukuruma nesting doll portraying portly bald old Buddhist monk.

Looking for a Large Cahe you shouldn't miss it.

Good Luck

-: EXTRA INFO :-
At each of the caches I will place over the next 12 months you will be able to find a small clue that will be used in finding a future cache. This will be either in the cache, on the cache or within a few meters of it so keep an eye out for it while finding the cache. It will be in the form of A=? B=? And so on. This is not required to locate this cache but will be handy down the road.

Good luck
