Geocache Description:

Amos is an antique city located on a hilltop. The Hill is on the side of the road from Turunc Village of Marmaris to Kumlubuk Beach. From Turunc Village of Marmaris it is about 3 km to the Hill. The Ruins are some castle walls, a small amphitheatre and some tombstones from Helenistic times. There is a short walkway on the site. The cache is at a point towards the end of the walk where you can see the Kumlubük Bay on one side and Amos Beach on the other side. So the name comes from the two views on either side. The cache is in a gap under a medium sized rock covered with a few stones. It is a rocky area but the cache rock is so classic with the hiding gap underneath. If you look around at the double view spot you will notice it. You have to kneel down to reach the cache. In order to reach Amos you need to come to Turunc first. From Marmaris there is public transportation as minibuses and boats to Turunc.
