PLEASE SIT THE CONTAINER UPRIGHT or it will get wet. Thanks!!!
In Honor of Kayakist’s 1K find (So Close… Yet so Far - 3/20/12) I decided to put one close to water – but, not in it….so most cachers could make the find. This cache is pretty easy but you may have to bring a buddy if you are height challenged. Please replace the cache without covering it. Whatever you cover it with will fall down and make the cache much more visible (you’ll see what I mean when you find it).
Kayakist fishes at Mogadore several times a year. He and our son, David, have caught Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Bowfin, Pickerel, and many types of pan fish including Bluegill and Sunfish.
One of the biggest Largemouth Bass, Kayakist ever had on his line was on this part of the Reservoir. He and our son, David, were canoeing and he was using one of his Favorite lures, “Bob” that David had made. The Largemouth hit “Bob” close to the boat so they were able to see how big it was as its head came out of the water. Not much line was out, so he couldn’t play the fish and the line snapped when the bass dove for the weeds. Kayakist was really distraught that he lost his favorite David lure - but, was thankful that he at least got to see this ~10 pound bass !!! (David made him another "Bob"!)
There is a Sacagawea Dollar for FTF!
Congratulations Mattfamily for FTF!!!
