The Hollis Trails Committee is having a Trail work day on Sat. Oct. 27th. They are meeting at the Silver Lake Park parking area at 8:00am and will break off into groups. The Trail work day is usually done no later than 11:00 am,
Lets show the Hollis community our support by having a CITO event to coincide with their cleanup efforts. I will bring a logbook to sign and we can all meet before and after the trailday to sign the book. I will make sure to arrive by 7:30 and will be in the parking lot before and after the trailday,
If you have brush cutters, please bring them. Its also recommended that you bring sturdy gloves. You will be assigned to a group. The work groups are spread out thru town. Some groups will work just picking up twigs and fallen limbs on the trails and others will be cutting back a trail.
Geocachers working with muggles - lots of opportunity to introduce them to this great hobby!
After the trail day, there are many great caches in this wonderful park. If you have not already done so, plan to spend some extra time in the area finding some of these caches.
