Geocache Description:

This cache is placed along the Jeep Trail at Oak Mountain State Park.  There is a $3 entry fee to enter the park. There is nothing special about this cache. If you want special, go visit West Overlook. Already found it? Oh well, I guess this will have to do.

I was back at Oak Mountain today placing more caches.  This just continues the Jeep Trail caches hidden by Nailhead.

I was particularly challenged all day today with coordinates.  Sometimes I got fair ones, and sometimes it took a lot of work to get some coordinates that at least seemed reasonable.   The cache is a Flare Tube and it is hidden about 60 feet off the Jeep Trail.  The cache is nestled near a smallish rock and covered with natural camo.

If you find the cache and can capture some coordinates please post them along with weather conditions with your log.  I will evaluate them and update as necessary.

The difficulty and terrain of this cache is highly questionable, and depends heavily on your approach to this cache.  It is possible to bike to this cache, and therefore, the terrain is rated based on that ability.  If you chose to hike in from Peavine Falls, then the terrain should be rated 4.  If you hike in from the closest spot for parking, then it should be 4.5.  I am relatively sure, however, that there is no approach that has you out of an automobile for less than two miles one way.
