This geocache is in a large area in the middle of the woods surrounded by housing and roads. There are two main ways to get to this cache. One goes from inside of the neighborhood, through thick terrain, and one is on a roadside. If youre looking for an adventurous trek through the woods, take Option One. However, if you're just driving by and want a quicker stop, Option Two may be a lot easier.
Option One - Neighborhood
- You will probably have to cut through a yard and jump a low fence to enter this path. The optimal location that we use is between houses 752 and 750.
- Once you hop the fence, head left following the creek until you find a bridge. Cross it.
- Follow pink marked trees (if you see gold after a while follow that, we ran out of pink)
- Its a long and winding path, so dont think youre done because you cant see pink, its there.
- When you get close to the spot you should be able to hear cars from the highway nearby.
- At this point start looking for the cache location, it will be nearby
Option Two - Roadside
- Stop off of Billingsley Drive Southbound at the Waypoint marker indicated. There is a nearby building before it if you'd rather park there.
- Theres a opening in the trees that should be pretty obvious.
- Follow this little path and you will arrive near the cache location
The Cache
- Its in a big pipe, thats why its called Pypefield!
- As of 10/10/12, there are orange ribbon things that pretty much lead right to the cache spot.
Pypefield
- If you head more into the woods, you will find what we call Pypefield. It's a big open field with a bunch of dead trees in it. Looks pretty cool. That's mostly what this cache is about.
SHOULD YOU GET LOST
- Pick a direction. Walk that way. Civilization is all around you.
