The posted coordinates will take you to the entrance of the historic Eden Cinema, or "cinematograph" as it was called upon its establishment. The cache is located less than a hundred meters from it.
Established in 1914, Eden Cinema was the first cinema in Tel Aviv (though Jaffa already had a couple of them). It has had its days of glory being the cultural center of the new town, and then a lot of ups and downs, until it finally closed in 1974. The building standing today, though in desperate need of restoration work, still shows its past glory. You can see the box office, as well as the signs saying "Eden" on both street fronts. It is actually the summer theatre, built in 1927 just to the south of the original theatre, so the lack of roof is part of the original design and not a sign of its dilapidated state (which is what we originally thought).
The cinema is just next to the beautiful Neve Tzedek neighborhood as well as to Rothschild Avenue, so if you're not from the area it's well worth taking some time to stroll around. There are also quite a few caches nearby, most of them closer to the sea.
This being a tribute cache to the cinema, the puzzle is all about movies. To find the cache coordinates you have to figure out which movies the images are taken from. You'll know what to do once you've started. We didn't pick the easiest images, so we've added a couple of picture hints below.
The cache is located at North Q° R.STU East V° W.XYZ.
Replace Q, R, V and W with two digits numbers and the rest of the letters with one digit numbers, according to this:
Q = B + C + G + I + J + L – H – P
R = O – F – J – L – P
S = F + J – L
T = E – F
U = B + G
V = D + K + M – A – E – F – H – N
W = C + E + M – K – N
X = N – I – K
Y = A – F – P
Z = J – L
The cache is a ~4cm diameter tin box with a magnet. Opening it is easy but closing a bit tricky: you need to press on the sides of the lid.
