A winter-friendly hide in a beautiful area of High River. You're looking for a small camouflaged rectangular LnL.
While visiting my family for Thanksgiving, I noticed that High River could use a few more caches. This one is a family effort - my mom helped me find the spot, and my dad helped me place the cache. The cache is near the Happy Trails, but far enough from prying eyes that you should be able to search uninterrupted. Keep an eye out for people whose houses back out onto the area, though! There's a nice toboggan hill nearby for the kids, and some good dog-walking spots nearby too.
The container is a small rectangular LnL that has been camouflaged with patterned tape. It has a few small trade items inside - mostly obtained from different career fairs and expos! (I cleaned out my desk and decided to use the swag for a cache!) There's a small pencil inside for the log.
While the hide itself is winter-friendly, please use caution when searching in the winter as there are a lot of hidden branches on the ground. Given the location, please be extra-careful not to include any scented or edible items in the cache, since there's lots of wildlife out here!
I averaged several sets of coordinates for the hide, but there are many trees in the area which might have caused a bit of interference. If you find that they're a bit off, I welcome corrections!
Have fun and enjoy!
