First cache in 3 part series. First 2 caches each hold half of coordinates to final cache located in High St. Woods in Acton, MA. The TripleTree name has not to do with location of caches (I promise). This cache is located in the Nagog Hills Orchard Conservation Trust of Littleton, MA. The GEO map shows Nagog Hill Orchard on Nashoba Road which is true, but not open to the public. A smaller orchard located to the right of this cache's parking area is located on Nagog Hill Rd.
This cache is located on lands that once belonged to the Praying Indians. After entering the trail head take the trail to the right up the hill for a far more interesting hike on the Dr. Ed Bell Trail. Cool trail if you're into rocks, it runs along a rock wall and the ridge of several large rock outcroppings. Turn left when trail forks over rock wall and down small hill then take red trail left. All 3 caches in series are large screw top flour containers able to hold larger trinkets. FTF will have choice of 4 hand painted rocks; "Hippo", "Candy Corn", "Snail" and "Bumblebee". This is my first published cache so I'm excited to send congrats to Boston Brewins for FTF and to Rawhyd for the nice pic. Second cache in this series is on hold, hope to publish soon.
