A good excuse to enter the Park, just a few km away from Rome beltway (much better by MTB), and a final surprise: WWII bunkers!
La Riserva naturale di Decima Malafede è un'area naturale protetta della Regione Lazio istituita nel 1997[1], compreso interamente nel territorio del comune di Roma. Ha una superficie di 6145 ettari.
Si trova nella parte sud-ovest del territorio comunale e, grosso modo, è delimitato dal Grande Raccordo Anulare, dalla via Pontina, dalla via Laurentina e dal territorio del comune di Pomezia. Nella zona della riserva sono presenti resti di insediamenti umani preistorici.
Questa zona fu teatro di aspri combattimenti durante l`avanzata degli alleati verso Roma, nella seconda guerra mondiale. Sono presenti ancora i resti dei caposaldi tedeschi ed in particolare vedrai due bunker ravvicinati.
Nel cache troverai un trackable e un piccolo regalo: se lo prelevi lascia qualcosa nel bussolotto.

The Regional Park of Decima-Malafede is a protected natural area of Lazio, Italy. It has an area of approximately 6,145 hectares.
The park is in the southwest zone of the city of Rome, bounded by the Grande Raccordo Anulare, the via Pontina and the via Laurentina (Community Pomezia). Sedimentary rocks in the park contain human prehistoric remains and the park is notable for its population of wild boar.
This area was the scene of fierce fighting during the advance of the Allies `to Rome in World War II. There are still remnants of the German defense line and in particular you will see two bunkers.
There's a trackable in the cache and a little treat: if you pick it then leave something else in the same place.
