Geocache Description:

Small metal container.  Not to many hiding places so it should be an easy find.  You can pull into the grass drive in the cemetery, but when I did today you didn't have to go far before you got into mud.  I would suggest parking on the street leading up to the cemetery.

I notice on many cemetery caches that people write about how bad a condition the cemetery is in and how sad it is.  If you are one of these people I suggest you skip this cache.  I have been burying people for over 25 years and I have NEVER seen a cemetery, active or inactive in this state of disrepaire.   There are very few stones here and the few that remain are either knocked over or broken.  There are areas where they are just thrown into piles.  A few are leaning against trees.  In the north east corner there is a small section where there are still stones standing.  I know the caretaker and this is how he took it over.  He keeps it mowed and trimmed, but there is no money for repairs.  It is NOT his fault it looks like this.  He is doing the best he can as is evident from the beautiful condition of the other cemeteries he oversees.  The last burial was 1955.
