I am somewhat familiar with this area and knew which trail to take to get to the "Red Ants Manzanita -East" cache.
Start by parking at the corner of Foresthill Ave. and Russell Road for the trailhead of the Stage Coach Trail. This little trail is somewhat hidden and as I found today, wanders in all directions (animal trails?).
I went for this particular cache since it hasn't been found in well over a year and a half. Even though I've noticed that the CO has only found 2 caches and has hidden 4 since 10/1/10, I felt sorry for this lonely cache and wanted to place one on the way in hopes that it may serve as a geocaching challenge somehow as Red Ants did for me today.
