Welcome to the trails of Monument Hill Quarry.

This is a favorite area for mountain bike riding and walkers and you may spot some climbers or abseiling practice in the nearby quarry, we thought it was well worth highlighting.
Little details were available in regards to the history of the quarry, but as you can see it would have been a busy spot back in its day & is now a great spot to explore.
Bring the camera!
The quarry has be used for Abseiling for beginners by the Murray Valley Bushwalking club, so you may be lucky enough to witness that when you are searching for the cache.
Walkers & Mountain Bikers can come from either direction - so please be aware.
Please keep an eye out for muggles when retrieving & replacing the cache to ensure its longevity.
The cache you are looking for is a small container & is placed a short walk away from the quarry & a quick detour off the track.
***If you do explore the quarry, please ensure geokids are kept well away from the edge and remain on the track.***
Keep an eye out for snakes!!
***You cannot access the cache from the Riverina Highway (Padman Drive) in a car as there is NO suitable spot to park - Please consider parking near the Monument and following the tracks***
