King Lane Tudor Kings - Henry VII Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

garlandgirl: Unfortunately I don't feel able to maintain this and my other caches in the way I once did. Sadly I have not been able to find anyone willing to take them over even though they're both lovely little north Leeds series.🤕

Geocache Description:

A short series of three caches inspired by my fascination with the Tudor period.
Small clip lock box with goodies suitable for children.
Care needed when crossing King Lane WELLIES RECOMMENDED! Congratulations to Fred the Red on being FTF!

Henry VII was the founder of the Tudor dynasty.  A cold, cautious and austere man who was minded to sound administration and the filling of the royal coffers.  His victory at the Battle of Bosworth Field resulted in his being crowned king in October 1485.  He then married Elizabeth of York thus uniting the Houses of Lancaster and York.  They had six children only three of whom outlived their father.
