Sooner or Later, you’ll be Amazed by the close resemblance of this cache to another one of local fame.
NCC trail #27 will get you close to the posted coordinates. After that, you will be entirely off trail. Sometimes you will find yourself pushing through scrub, sometimes it will be fairly open. The cache is within 400m of the posted coordinates. Once you have found it, check the lid – it has some advice for getting back to a trail.
There is a reflective tack located very close to each tag, and the cache, to help make them easier to find. This cache can be done during the day but I recommend you do it at night.
WATERPROOF FOOTWEAR IS RECOMMENDED!
Except during very dry weather, you will likely encounter puddles of various sizes. They are rarely more than ankle deep.
This cache is group friendly.
Snowshoes are recommended for winter. Skis are not suitable for this terrain.
Update: July 19, 2020
The last time I replaced some of the tags, I used the wrong pen (Sharpie), one that is not as permanent as the one that I should have used, which is an archival pen. The contents are those tags are no longer readable.
I’m not going to replace the tags. Instead, I will archive the cache but not until sometime in August.
However, I am making it possible to find the cache in a somewhat unusual way. A picture of contents of all the tags has been added to the gallery. Make of it what you will.
