Geocache Description:

Park and grab cache. Placed on a quiet country lane. Short term parking is available adjacent the cache site. The cache is wheel chair accessible but you may need some assistance to retrieve and replace.     Too small for swaps and trackables.

The container was found in my garden whilst I was doing some digging the date on the bottom is 1987, maybe older than some cachers !   I thought I’d give Alf a new home, where he can watch the world go by and get some visits from friends. Take care of him, he’s old.   Alf now has a magnetic base, just grab him and pop the base off, re-assemble carefully and replace.  For those not old enough to remember click to see Alf in his heyday
