The cache is a small tupperware container containing a paper log, pencil and some items to be described by the first-to-find.
This cache (a cylindroid tupperware container) has been placed in a flat plateau area in the foothills of the Comeragh Mountains, at an elevation of 420 metres AMSL. In clear weather there are beautiful views from the cache site to the Seven Sisters mountains, and also to the plains of Tipperary. A subsidiary road takes you to within 110 metres of the cache, although it might be better to park about 500 metres away, at the point where the minor road leaves the paved one, unless you have 4WD. You will need to cross a short stretch of bog to reach the cache, and will need suitable footwear. e.g. mountain boots. Please do not attempt to reach it in bad weather, after recent rain or when low cloud / mist covers the area, as it could be difficult to find your way back to the road.
