This is a micro close to the abbey.
Selby Abbey was founded in 1069 by Benedict of Auxerre; a monk who was told in a vision to build a monastery at ‘Selebiae’ at a site marked by 3 swans. These he found near the Ouse at Selby. The swans have featured on Selby’s arms ever since.
The Abbey is open to the public from 9am until 4pm, every day including Sunday.
This cache is part of a series of caches around the town of Selby. It has part of the code needed to get to the SBY7 Bonus Cache.
There are six caches each with a letter (A-F) and a number. You need to record the letters and numbers from the caches which will then give you the final three coordinates of the Northings and Westings for the bonus cache.
