No.3 Ratby Burroughs Round - The Ford Traditional Cache
chev&ossie: Checked this one as we were out on a walk to replace a log in another of our caches. Sadly another of our caches has now strangely disappeared, so in accordance with our decision to archive our caches as they go, another of our caches is no longer, as it is becoming to time consuming and expensive to try to keep up with whoever is taking them

Heading along Burroughs Road you will come to a small ford. There is a small footbridge to cross the ford, but the stream is never very deep, and it is usually possible to walk across it. However, care should be taken as the ground can sometimes be slippery with algae.
This is a lovely lane for a walk, but please be aware of traffic, especially early mornings and evenings at weekends with people using an activity area at the end of the road. These drivers are sometimes coming away from their session with a bit of adrenaline still in their system!
There is a car park further up the road too, so please take extra care of dogs and children when walking this road.
If going in number sequence clockwise there is a good hill to climb between caches 3 and 4, or if going anti-clockwise the hill is between 3 and 2 (there's no avoiding it!), so either way, take a deep breath and on you go.
Small tube, own writing equipment will be needed. Easier for taller cachers
