The woodland on the left can get a little noisy at weekends with people using each other for shooting practise. However, this doesn't happen too often, and even with the noise of guns the area is well worth a visit, especially in the bluebell season, when the sight and scent here is stunning on a warm, sunny spring day. Patience maybe needed with GPS here due to tree cover.
