Geocache Description:

Hines Drive Connector - BSA cache is south of M-14 along Hines Drive. There is a parallel parking on the east side of the road in the Springbrook Recreation Area. You can also view an online trail map on Google Maps. It includes markers for official access points to the trail.

The I-275 Bike Trail uses Hines Drive to connect the sections north and south of I-96 / I-275 and M-14. This is one of a set of three caches that shapes up the corner area at the north end of the Hines Drive section. Hopefully some day all the various sections will be connected up. As with the other sections, I am naming them after bicycle manufacturers. This cache is named after BSA. Birmingham Small Arms Company was a conglomerate from England that started in 1861. They may have been best known for producing firearms and Triumph motorcycles. They also produced bicycles, automobiles, buses, taxis and variety of other industrial products.

The caches along here are a little further off the path as the immediate area has typically been cleared. There is a fair amount of poison ivy along Hines Drive. There are no vines in the immediate area of the cache. The cache container is a Paint By Number container. You will need a log extractor. Please bring your own pencil or pen.
