This cache was placed in honor of Dog 1, Dawson and remains here in memory of him. Ex guide dog Dawson loved this park, especially the field, where he would chase his ball. We bought him to this park for walks since he was a young pup. It's a lovely place for family days out, picnics and relaxing.
Dawson's hobbies were fetching his ball, playing fetch, bringing his ball back, going after his ball, eating and sleeping.
This is the first cache in a series of four set in a circular walk of just under 2 miles in Thorndon South Country Park. You are looking for a small clip lock box . Please be aware this area can be muggly especially in warm weather.
This cache contains 2 co-ordinates for the multi 'Find the catz'
This cache is placed with kind permission of the Thorndon Rangers. Car park costs £3.00 and closes at dusk.
