Chapelle Saint Joseph-des-Champs

Cette chapelle se trouve sur l'ancienne route reliant le Dauphiné au Languedoc, en franchissant le Rhône à Pont-Saint-Esprit.
Elle a subi de nombreuses modifications, depuis son origine (XIIème ou XIIIème siècle); les dernières au début du XVIIIème siècle.
La chapelle initiale a été agrandie, et se retrouvent littéralement enclavée dans le bâtiment actuel.

This chapel is erected on the ancient road from the Dauphiné to the Languedoc, using Pont-Saint-Esprit's bridge to cross the river Rhône.
It has undergone many modifications, from its origin (XIInd ou XIIIrd century); last one at the beginning of XVIIIth century.
The initial chapel was extended, and is enshrined in the nowadays building.
