This is one of the spillweirs discovered during the renovation of this stretch of the canal.The triangle wood spillweir was found by accident as bricks were spotted in a rabbit hole! there is another further up the hill towards pewsham which is a more elaborate horse shoe shape. There is a bench near by so have a sit and watch the wildlife for a while but look out for muggles as this is a very popular walk.
There is no room for pen so please bring your own! Congrats to geog5 for another FTF!!, on the way back to the car after placing the cache, I had a bet with junior who would be FTF - I win!!
