Tyred Out Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Professor Xavier: Hi

Unfortunately the Hampshire and IOW Wildlife Trust have stated that they no longer permit caching on land owned/managed by them.

Therefore I have no option but to archive this listing.

Regards,

Ed - Professor Xavier

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small camo covered box with a few swappable items placed in a buried car tyre
which is part of an old BMX bike track.  The cache originally contained a travel bug.

This is a circular detour from the M3 and the cache can be accessed by following the A287 towards Odiham. At the roundabout take the first exit sign pointing to a Farm Shop. Go to the end of the short road past a pub and park at the end where the road stops.  There is room for quite a few cars without annoying  locals .  Go down a foot path bearing slightly left at the road end.  You will soon see some half buried tyres to the left of the path.  The BMX track is mainly unused but you may have to watch out for the occasional biking muggles and walking muggles.  The path you are on was once a road before the motorway was built. Congratulations to HudsonHouse for finding this cache for the first time only a few hours after it had been published !!
