A gathering to introduce some of the key members of geocaching. An event that even GEOSPAZ will be at and help put on. From 10am -1pm for main activites. So you can pop in say hi socialize and possibly do one of the many activities and grab some of the new caches that will publish on this day in the area. We will wrap up the socializing of this event at 1 to allow for a cito event.
This event is for us to get to know people. The main goal of this event is for people get to know who is behind this TEAM ESP who hides caches for your caching pleasure. For us to get CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK and positive feedback. We are hoping to learn from you the cachers what you want from us when hiding. We are ever changing our hides. WE probably enjoy hiding more than finding. We have many activities planned for this event also. Some of them include but not limited to the following. All items are subject to change so watch the listing for more information.
1. We are working to plan a cito event during the same time details to come on that as we get more information on it.
2. To teach any new people to geocaching some tricks we have learned and more about using a GPS or how to sign up. This will include some geocaching on the property to show how to program a gps with coordinates that aren't on the site (for multi's, mystery caches etc) Also one new cache on geocaching.com.
3. Socialize with other cachers. We will also be doing a drawing for a few door prizes. You do not have to stay for the whole event to be eligble for the prize just have to come in and sign the event log and put your name in.
4. Another activity also!!!
This is at Vancouver First Friends Church 2710 Ne 65th ave Vancouver, Washington. Go in main entrance driveway go to the back of the building and there should be signs on the door to enter. We hope to have signs up at the entrance driveway and leading you to the back of the church.
