Geocache Description:

You are at Wantage War Memorial Recreation Ground. It was presented to the town by EB Ormond Esq. and was opened on May 13th 1920. This is #2 of 3 caches you can find here. Bring the kids for a fun day out.

I have added Dinky Tinky Tilda (aged, 2 3/4) as CO too, as she enjoyed helping me with this and placed the cache herself.

This cache replaces the original #2 but is a different container and in a slightly different location. I'm glad lots of people got to enjoy the previous cache but unfortunately the birds seemed to enjoy it even more! The cache is accessible with a buggy but you will need to put a bit of effort in up the hill. I feel it may prove too challenging for the average wheelchair user, unaided. You will need to use tweezers to extract the log. Hope you enjoy this one as much as Mr Snail!
