The cache is not at the above co-ordinates, this is the suggested parking. It is pay and display though there is some on street parking in this area if your lucky !

Please take care near the busy roads. There are pedestrian crossings where you need to cross the main roads.

1 - N53.46.982 W001.04.419

The town hall has had many different uses since it opened including been a Methodist Church, the school clinic and a tyre depo.

What year was the Town Hall built ?  The third digit = B

Cross over the main shopping street



2 - N53.47.027 W001.04.287

This buliding used to be Montague burtons gents outfitters, they had their shop on the groun floor and the seamstresses worked upstairs making, altering and repairing the clothes.

What year did the Burtons lay the stones ?  The forth digit = I

Cross back over the road and take the 1st turning on your right (Audus Street)

 St James Church used to have a spire where the tower is today. The spire was hit by a bomber plane in 1944 killing the 7 crew members and 8 civilians.
