Quiet in the Woods Traditional Cache
New York Admin: Regrettably there has been no response from the cache owner placing me in a position where I must archive this cache. Caches archived by a reviewer or HQ staff for lack of maintenance or failure to respond can not be unarchived.

Located a little off the Wilson Hill Nature trail, (no Motor vehicles allowed) the trail is used also in winter for cross country skiing. along the way you may see Deer, Fox, etc. and several species of birds. this is also near where goose banding occurs each summer. Please observe all postings along the trail (especially the restricted wetlands signs). GOOD LUCK :)
From RT 131 take causeway to Wilson Hill , parking lot is on left, just after arriving on island. Take nature trail (no motor vehicles beyond this point) that has no gate. Cache is a little off trail, and requires just a little easy "bushwhacking" through woods to small clearing . (wait till GPS shows your perpendicular before turning into woods from nature trail). Cache is 1 lb 13 oz plastic coffee cannister. contains Log, pen and swag (bring own Pencil in winter). after visiting the Cache you can also continue down the trail to a Birdwatching tower, who will be FTF
