My family has been visiting this area for years. The cache is hidden in a wooded area that is open to the public. You will have lots more company in November and December, but shouldn't look out of place as everyone here is looking around also. It is hidden in a spot that should be found even during the snowy months, so feel free to search for this one while you are here for something else.
If you come on a weekend in November or December, you might even see the big guy with a white beard.
