Kamloops West Point: Headquarters to the Geocaching Green Guys. First Regiment, Commanded by TheLegoFool&Missus Placed on Remembrance Day, 2012. Lest We Forget
A few years back, I started following www.geocachearmy.com (which not longer exists anywhere) and thought to myself... "How cool is that?"
When I decided to actually get myself involved, the website was no longer there.
So this cache is the brainchild of another cacher, but kept alive by us. The idea is a simple one...
These army men are beginning their mission in Kamloops, BC. They want to travel from cache to cache ensuring the safety of Canadian Soldiers and others that may need their help. Please take pictures of their missions, if you are able to, and send them on to the next cache so they can continue their mission.
Take a soldier, move a soldier, place a soldier, email the Commander of troop movement.
Each soldier, or troop has a tag attached with their troop number, and information on how to track the troop. You simply need to email me the new location of the troop, and I will update his movement on my website.
If along your travels, the GGG come across Non Green Guys, please retrieve the NGG and consider them a prisoner of war. Along with the movement details, inform the Commander of the prisoner capture!
Or you can leave a comment on my website as to the movement of the troop. Either way, the information will be collected, their movement updated, and you will help the troop on his mission.
