Chicken LickeyN #3 What lives within? (Nightcache) Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

SOAPY chickens: Mother Nature has decreed that the night trail originally placed here no longer works

Hopefully something else will pop along here soon to replace it

Happy New Year and thanks to all that visited, favourited and left such entertaining logs

I told you it would be muddy...

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is the third in a series of four nightcaches (to be completed in sequence 1-4) set in the Lickey Hills Country Park placed with the kind permission of the Countryside Rangers

The trail to the caches is a series of retro reflective markers placed in the woods

BEWARE: The trail is exceptionally muddy - wellies and waterproof trousers recommended

All trails have been set using "white" retro-reflective markers, which have been placed at varying heights (generally 10-15 feet above ground). The "white" markers should lead you to GZ where the cache is hidden, and marked with "yellow" retro-reflective markers.

At GZ, the clue should assist and the caches should be a relatively easy find, but getting your hand on the log may not be so easy...... enjoy!

#3 What lives within?

This is a well hidden cache located off the beaten path location – which can be a challenge to get to, even in daylight, hence the high D/T

A brave soul will be required to reach into the dark and see what they can find – and then, when retrieved, enjoy the surprise

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LEAVE THE GUARDIAN IN SITU AND REPLACE THE CACHE EXACTLY AS IT WAS FOUND

Approaching: When you spot an arrow high on the RHS, drop down to GZ, but be careful it’s steep and slippery

Departing: Back on the main path, turn right (direction you were heading) to continue the trail (be careful crossing the second stream, the bridge has been destroyed and it is fun getting across!)

This cache used to be an involved jigsaw puzzle, but for various reasons, including the tree growing around and entombing the original cache, it has had to be changed

See if you can find the original cache in situ!
