Geocache Description:

This is the fourth and final in a series of four nightcaches (to be completed in sequence 1-4) set in the Lickey Hills Country Park placed with the kind permission of the Countryside Rangers

The trail to the caches is a series of retro reflective markers placed in the woods
 
BEWARE: The trail is exceptionally muddy - wellies and waterproof trousers recommended

All trails have been set using "white" retro-reflective markers, which have been placed at varying heights (generally 10-15 feet above ground). The "white" markers should lead you to GZ where the cache is hidden, and marked with "yellow" retro-reflective markers.

#4 The Black Hole

This is a well hidden cache located off the beaten path, and across a watery hazard, somewhere which can be a challenge to get to, even in daylight, hence the high D/T
 
When the trail runs out you will need to used the natural bridge, or brave the rapids to get to GZ

Approaching: After crossing the bridge and walking up the path, turn left at the ‘hut’, you need to go diagonally right through the holly bushes, until the trees open out and the trail finishes

Departing: Back on path, turn left, continue uphill towards the road (parking co-ords are in the listings) This route is not marked, you are on your own, suggest you stay on the paths


This GZ was muggled (summer 2015) and the cache completely trashed, so has been replaced by something a little less involved and easier to replace if it happens again - the original #4 cache is now in play at #2
