Geocache Description:

Cache'n'Dash between Lairg and Tongue.

A weather station. Two lonely gateposts. A trail head. A trail end. The beautiful surroundings of Loch Naver lie ahead. The Strathnaver trail takes you past standing stones, the beginnings of the Highland Clearances - and a long trail up to the Farr Stone in Betty Hill. It all begins here.

Come for the caching, stay for the salmon fishing!

(Gorgeous landscape photography from along Loch Naver and up the trail is very much welcome)
