Geocache Description:

This cache is a tribute to the first ascent party of the Mattterhorn in Switzerland. Cache is not at listed co-ordinates. This is your best entrance point for the cache, but you will need to solve the puzzle to find the cache co-ordinates.

The team of seven men reached the summit successfully, but a slip on the descent caused the death of four of them. It is one of the most famous and tragic episodes in the history of mountaineering, and please think of these brave souls as you face your modest climb to reach the cache!
