OSSP-Rhi's Birthday Cache #1 Traditional Cache
R&B Trailwalkers: Sorry..but we are archiving this one. It has disappeared three times now. Someone is obviously taking the containers. I doubt that it is park staff...we had approval of the park manager to place the caches here. We are staying at a state park volunteering for the summer. Maybe we will put another one out in a different spot after a few months have passed. Glad everyone enjoyed Rhi's caches. The other two will stay.

This cache is on Lester Finley Trail, Oscar Scherer State Park, Osprey,Fl. Container is a water-tight cell phone container. Cache was approved by the managmentof the park.The cache is one of three , they are separate caches and can be found independent of each other. The trail is 1/2 mile round trip .
We placed this cache as an easy find for families with children and wheelchair bound cachers.It is on the Lester Finley Trail in Oscar Scherer State Park. This was placed to honor our grand daughter's birthday. She has been "hiking" this trail since she was a toddler. We have spent many happy hours here over the years,exploring,fishing,having picnics,and sharing nature with our grandchild. The trail has benches to rest on and enjoy some great views. There are picnic tables,a drinking fountain, a neat little wooden bridge and a great fishing deck. The trail is clear and easy to walk. No bushwacking needed. We hope you enjoy the trail,but as always watch for poison ivy or critters if you step off the path. This cache was placed with approval of the management of OSSP.There is a fee of $5.00 per car for the day. There are many other great things to do here. There are two other birthday caches in this area , they are numbered but are totally separate from each other and in no particular order.Explore and Enjoy
