Geocache Description:

Ingersley Vale & Rainow Circular #6.  Regular Size Clip and Lock in Camo Bag. Big enough for lots of stuff. I started it off with some gifts for the initial finders, but please add to the collection. Please always replace as found.

This is #6 of 8 caches on a 3 mile circular along some nice easy paths from Bollington to Rainow and back along Oakenbank Lane. The caches are at good photo op places in case of muggles.

Starting from Ingersley Vale, where you should be able to park, follow the well made up track to the Ingersley Vale waterfall. Through the gate to the left of the waterfall, across fields using the stone paved path and follow on to Rainow. At Sugar Lane turn left then left on Chapel Lane, left along Smithy Lane, left at Oakenbank Lane which is a bridle way not made for any car. Along Oakenbank Lane for about 1 mile until you reach the stone stile to a path across the Savio House fields. Here you'll see a lot of really old trees, but follow the signs to the right most kissing gate. Down a very secluded and lovely pathway. You exit next to a cottage back on Ingersley Vale.

There are 5 existing caches which you pass by or can take small detours for.

Also check out Ridge Circular and feeders.

You'll also walk along my own Ingersley Vale & Kerridge Ridge circular walk, which you could do as well in a figure 8. Together you'll have about a 7 mile walk passing by 27 caches.
