Geocache Description:


We have placed this cache for our dads 70th birthday. We introduced him to geocaching just after his retirement last year. He has lived in Trentham for 50 years and spent plenty of time over the years in Trentham Gardens and the nearby Fern Hills both for work and leisure. We have also spent many a year standing in the gardens waiting for him to complete the potteries marathon which used to have the finish line in the gardens themselves.  Trentham has been a special place for our family for many years so we thought it an appropriate place to put our celebratory cache. These old entrance lodges to Trentham are listed buildings and are now sadly overlooked by the public who only tend to see the new entrance just down the a34. There is plenty of parking nearby and it could well be a cache and dash but extreme stealth is required as it is a muggle rich area. Well Done to JnKFox for FTF :o)
