Travel to this cache is mainly on paved road. The last two miles is on a forest service gravel road in good shape. The terrain to the cache is up hill with rocks and down fall to maneuver around/over. Elevation is 4132 ft.
From the name of the cache you might conclude someone just turned 50. This cache is placed in honor of GB and the contents contain some interesting facts regarding happenings at the time of his birth. I am hopeful he and family will be the first to find. The cache container is a camo painted peanut butter jar. Contents include facts about 1962, some hand warmers, fishing gear, and assorted stuff. The view from the cache sight is very nice and a camera is recommended. There is another cache hidden today in the general area.
