ITA - MAR - Museo d'Arte della città di Ravenna. Ha sede presso l'ex Monastero di Santa Maria in Porto, struttura architettonica denominata anche Loggetta Lombardesca costruita fra il 1495 e il 1525, e conserva ancora un magnifico chiostro del Rinascimento, a due ordini di logge. Sede di numerose ed importanti mostre d'arte temporanee, ospita tre collezioni permanenti: Collezione antica con opere dal XIV al XVIII secolo; Collezione moderna con opere dall'inizio dell'800 alla prima metà del 900; Collezione di mosaici contemporanei con opere dalla metà del '900 ad oggi. Vi si conserva inoltre la statua di Guidarello Guidarelli di Tullio Lombardi (1525): un'opera in marmo di superba bellezza e ricca di leggenda

ENG - MAR - Art Museum of Ravenna. The building, located in the former Monastery of Santa Maria in Porto, is also known as Loggetta Lombardesca and it was built between 1495 and 1525. It still retains a magnificent Renaissance cloister with two rows of loggias. It is a centre for many important contemporary art exhibitions and contains three permanent collections: the ancient collection with works from the 14th to the 18th centuries; the modern collection with works from the early 18th century to the first half of the 19th century; the contemporary mosaic collection with works from the mid-19th century to the present. It also contains the statue of Guidarello Guidarelli by Tullio Lombardi (1525): this is a beautiful and legendary work in marble.
