This is an amazing trail and needs to be shown off for the jewel of Ogden Valley that it is!
All caches are close to the trail, but a little bushwhacking here and there is to be expected. Please minimize your impact on the environment when you do so.
If you feel the cache needs maintenance, please help maintain it if you can. The caches are all placed to be found year round. If there are are string of DNF logs on a cache, feel free to replace the container in a similar fashion as other hides in the series, and note it in your cache log. Photo logging is encouraged, and spoiler logs are okay by me too. :-)
In the winter time this is part of the Ogden Nordic Cross Country Skiing trail system, and requires a Trails Pass to use the area. Passes and Equipment Rentals are available at the lodge located at the North Fork Park South Gate Trailhead.
In the warmer seasons, this trail and area are open to hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
When we placed these caches we hiked the trail counter-clockwise, but I it would be less steep if you went around clockwise. Here is a link that tells you about the trail conditions and what to expect:
