A VERY SHORT STORY
CHAPTER ONE:
"Okay, guys. It's exactly noon," proclaimed Jack to his cohorts. Jack was the jealous sort, not to mention just a little bit crazy. Janet had dumped him a few weeks ago, and she had recently been seen around town with a new boyfriend. Jack had threatened to tar and feather the guy, and run him out of town, just like in the old days, if he was still around at noon today. And he had coerced some of his buddies to assist him in that task.
"Shouldn't we wait just a little longer?" questioned one of his less enthused associates.
"IT'S TIME. LET'S TAR JAN'S DUDE!" shouted Jack, as he stirred the pot of hot black liquid.
CHAPTER TWO:
"What color is this ox??" Jerry eagerly asked his girl friend. He was taking receipt of several oxen being delivered today for his boss Robert, and he had some special handling instructions. Most of the animals could be left at the delivery point; but when a special light brown colored one arrived, it was to be taken directly to Robert on the other side of town. But Jerry would much rather go out behind the barn and make out with Susie than haul an ox around town.
"Looks like another black one", Susie replied.
"BOB'S OX ISN'T TAN? LET'S NECK!" Jerry responded, as they headed for the bushes.
