Geocache Description:

These caches have been set to mark the inclusion of South Kyme into the Car Dyke Group of Churches, and the arrival of our new vicar after a vacancy lasting some 18 months. Each cache is placed at a location associated with one of the six Churches in the Benefice. All have been set with permission from the incumbent.

Holy Trinity Church, Martin

The Church of the Holy Trinity Martin is a grade II listed, attractive small stone-built church, dating from 1874, set back slightly from the High Street with a wide gravel drive. Inside the church is welcoming, with good natural light. The church has a traditional organ, and a fine peal of bells which sound every Tuesday evening when the bell ringers practice.
This cache is placed within the grounds of the church quite close to the footpath so there is no need to wander around the graveyard. The cache is in plain view, but not easy to see - please replace as found. There is a pile of dressed stone close to the church - please do not disturb it - the cache is not in this pile. If the Church is open please feel free to go in and look around.
