A walk of about 2 miles in woodland around Falkirk Wheel.
Most of the caches are accessible by wheelchair, buggies and cycles apart from Tansy's Wonder Walk 3- Roughcastle Roman Fort which can be accessed on foot , if not done as a circular, from the main path over muddy ground for about 100 metres.
You are looking for a cylinder about 3 inches long. Main parking can be found at the Falkirk Wheel (£2 per day) gates close at 20.00 hrs. Other parking off A803 glasgow Road free but access across to Falkirk Wheel is by a swing bridge which closes at 20.00hrs. There is also parking outside gates on road near entrance to Falkirk Wheel.
Alternative parking can be found at waypoint reference below although it would be best to then start with cache no 5 Tansy's Wonder Walk - Walking the Line.
