Geocache Description:

A hidden cache of approx 5 ft up but 6 inches tall. Please do not rely too heavily on cords as tree cover is quite dense.

This cache is hidden at the bottom of Fen Lane which can become quite stodgy at certain times of year - you have been warned!

Fen Lane is a private road so you will not be welcomed if you decide to drive down and anyway there is no parking.

Keep to the left of the Eco house at the end of the track and you will go past the entrance to a fairly dilapidated picnic area just before GZ.

Due to amount of tree cover the cords may be a little out - you do not need to go beyond the gate. We have used the picnic area ourselves a few times in the last 5 - 10 years, mainly as an Easter egg hunt site for the kids and thrown some sausages on disposable barbies, whilst they hunt, to try and keep warm.   We have never known the picnic site to be well maintained ( or even maintained at all) but you may be lucky enough to find something to sit on if you decide to explore.

The cache can be found just to the right of the path and please take care as the log crossing will be slippery even if not under water!  A torch may be useful on grey days.
