Geocache Description:

Hines Drive Connector - Dunelt cache is south of M-14 along Hines Drive. There is parallel parking on the east side of the road in the Springbrook Recreation Area or at Wilcox Lake. You can also view an online trail map on Google Maps. It includes markers for official access points to the trail.

The I-275 Bike Trail uses Hines Drive to connect the sections north and south of I-96 / I-275 and M-14. This is one of a set of four caches in the area of Northville Road and Wilcox Lake. Hopefully some day all the various sections will be connected up. As with the other sections, I am naming them after bicycle manufacturers. This cache is named after Dunelt. Dunelt Motorcycles was formed in England in 1919. by Dunford & Elliott, Ltd. They made bicycles in addition to motorcycles and motorcycle sidecars.

The cache container is a small bison tube. You may need a log extractor. Please bring your own pencil or pen.

I have found that a quick and simple log extraction tool can be made from a small paperclip. Straighten one end out. Grab just a small portion (maybe 1/32 of an inch or 1 millimeter) with a long-nose or needle-nose pliers then bend it at a right angle.
