Geocache Description:

You are looking for a Micro sized cache, so bring a pen. Tweezers could be needed.

Having reached 1,000 finds, thought it only fair to put out a cache myself.

History

Situated to the east of the cache and on the corner of Admiralty Rd was Portsmouth’s most well know brewery, Brickwoods. The company began brewing in Portsmouth in the mid 19th century. The company owned up to eight hundred pubs in Portsmouth & Hampshire.

My caching name comes from one of their beers 'LittleBricky' – A strong ale.

Brewing continued on this Queen Street site until 1983.

Cachers may see many pubs in Portsmouth still adorned with the Brickwoods name.
