It is interesting sometimes what can be found next to a country lane. We had to stop and have a look at these Survey markers.
Survey marks are placed to mark key survey points on the Earth's surface. They are used in geodetic and land surveying. Obviously someone has been busy out here.
The cache is a small round screptop container with logbook, pencil and some small swaps.
