Geocache Description:

The Secret Vista

Tower Hill is a giant maar or volcanic explosion crater it is of national geological significance.
This cache has one of the better if not the BEST view in the Tower Hill State park.

From the Peak Walk car park you can go 150 meters back up the road and take the management track to the right or at the 1st landing on the Peak climb, walk around the Southern side of Yatt Mirning to W1, then take the track South - that will ensure that there is no need for bush-bashing. The cache is a small Sistema container painted matt black.
During the warmer months you should wear boots and long pants.
Great spot for a picnic and the “Green Keepers” aka kangaroos and wallabies – keeping the grassy area manicured. The only downside is the predominant wind is from the South West, and this area is exposed to those cold SW winds; BUT the vista!!
If you haven’t bagged “Out of Breath” yet, you are half way up to it! If you continue west from W1 you sweep around Yatt Mirning on the management track and end up on the Peak Climb path. This is the only way to ride a Mountain Bike to the top of Tower Hill – done it.
This IS a Secret Vista – so don’t tell anybody, OK!

First to Find Honour goes to Famous5!.
