Geocache Description:

This is a medium sized cache good for travel bugs and coins overlooking a secluded beach.  Easy trail to get to the location from a well-known beach.  Occasionally monk seals are sighted sunbathing on the beach.
DO NOT DISTURB OR GET CLOSE TO THE MONK SEALS.

Monk seals are an endangered species found around the South Pacific. A young monk seal contracted cataracts and was sent to the mainland for rehabilitation.  The song, by Lono at Lonomusic.com, Ho 'aliona Po speaks to waiting for him to come home, back to Molokai.  Monk seals are occasionally seen on this beach but Hawaiian Law forbids people from getting close or disturbing them.  They are very playful and love sunning themselves for hours.

The walk to the cache takes you past a well known beach that has pieces of a ship that was wrecked in 1916.  A great place to snorkel.

The cache container is a medium cammo'ed container.
